The cancellation of the US policy promoting electric vehicle production and sales by President Trump could impact Indonesia. GAIKINDO in Indonesia believes that the growth of internal combustion engine vehicles must continue, noting that the low resale value of electric vehicles is a reason for public hesitation. The Indonesian government is offering hybrid vehicle incentives to boost the sale of environmentally friendly vehicles.

ORA released teaser images of its upcoming electric SUV. Optional two-tone paint and surround-view cameras are offered; the name “ORA 5” leads an ongoing public vote, with launch imminent.
