The cancellation of the US policy promoting electric vehicle production and sales by President Trump could impact Indonesia. GAIKINDO in Indonesia believes that the growth of internal combustion engine vehicles must continue, noting that the low resale value of electric vehicles is a reason for public hesitation. The Indonesian government is offering hybrid vehicle incentives to boost the sale of environmentally friendly vehicles.

ORA released teaser images of its upcoming electric SUV. A prototype of Porsche’s electric Cayenne Coupe was caught at the Nürburgring. The Turbo/Turbo GT variant adds a fixed rear wing, aggressive aero and wider fenders. Built on the 800 V PPE platform, it packs a 113 kWh battery capable of 400 kW DC charging (10–80 % in 16 min) and 11 kW wireless charging. Output is expected to exceed 1,000 hp, with sales starting in 2026.
