BMW Malaysia has launched the facelifted flagship iX electric SUV in two variants: the iX xDrive45 Sport and iX xDrive60 M Sport Pro, priced at RM425,800 and RM487,800 respectively (on-the-road, excluding insurance). The new models feature adaptive LED headlights and a circular grille, with seven new body colors and 21/22-inch wheels. The iX xDrive45 Sport has a 100.6 kWh battery with 408 hp and 700 Nm, offering up to 602 km range (WLTP) and 175 kW fast charging. The iX xDrive60 M Sport Pro features an 111.5 kWh battery with 544 hp and 765 Nm, with a range of 701 km and 195 kW fast charging. Both variants come with Harman Kardon audio, 12.3+14.9-inch curved screens, panoramic sunroofs, and full Level 2 semi-autonomous driving assistance.

Spy shots reveal the refreshed AITO M7 adopting M9-inspired styling and introducing its first pure-electric variant. Length grows to 5100 mm and wheelbase to 3050 mm for larger battery packaging. A full-width taillight with AD “blue indicator” completes the rear. Pre-orders are expected to open in August, with CLTC EV range likely exceeding 300 km.
SAIC-GM-Wuling 2026 Xingchi Launched, Limited-Time Price as Low as 37,800 Yuan
SAIC-GM-Wuling has launched the 2026 Xingchi SUV with two configurations. The 1.5L 6MT Freedom model is priced at 52,800 yuan, with a subsidized price of 37,800 yuan. The 1.5L CVT Fun model is priced at 66,800 yuan, with a subsidized price of 51,800 yuan. The new model retains the “Wing Dynamics Aesthetics” design, adds the Iceberry Purple color, and features an 8-inch touchscreen, electrically adjustable mirrors, and other configurations. It is powered by a 1.5L engine with a choice of 6MT or CVT transmission.

BMW Malaysia Launches X5 xDrive40i M Sport, Priced from RM469,800
Following the launch of the fourth-generation facelift BMW X5 in January, BMW Malaysia has introduced the new X5 xDrive40i M Sport, priced at RM469,800 (2-year warranty) or RM508,200 (5-year warranty + maintenance). The xDrive40i M Sport features a 3.0L inline-six turbocharged petrol engine with a 48V mild hybrid system, delivering 381 hp and 540 Nm, with a 0-100 km/h sprint time of 5.4 seconds and a top speed of 250 km/h. The interior includes a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster and a 14.9-inch central screen (with BMW OS 8.5), supporting 5G connectivity. It also comes with 21-inch M-specific wheels, Harman Kardon audio, and a panoramic sunroof among other luxury features.
