On July 11, Geely launched the 2026 ICON Chocolate at a promo price of 7.98-8.58 k RMB. The 4 350 mm compact SUV adds four new colours and keeps the 133 kW 1.5TD+7DCT combo, delivering 6.3 L/100 km WLTC. Standard kit includes Flyme Auto, 14.6-inch screen, heated front seats and Bluetooth smart key.
BYD Launches City EV “Atto 1” in Indonesia: 300 km NEDC, From IDR 250 Million
On 15 July, BYD unveiled the Indonesian-market Atto 1—a rebadged global Seagull—at GIIAS 2025. The city EV packs a 30 kWh Blade battery, 55 kW/135 Nm motor and 300 km NEDC range, priced IDR 250–350 million. Standard kit includes ESC, ABS and cruise control. Public display runs 24 Jul–3 Aug at ICE BSD; BYD Indonesia reports 80–90 % readiness for the event.

BBA H2 2025 Product Blitz: Mercedes Fields Six, BMW Debuts iX3, Audi Leads with Q6L e-tron
Mercedes-Benz, BMW and Audi will launch close to ten key models in the second half of 2025. Mercedes brings the 800 V EQA LWB sedan, Shooting Brake and GLC EV with up to 866 km range. BMW debuts the Neue-Klasse iX3 claiming 900 km CLTC and Alibaba’s AI assistant. Audi’s Q6L e-tron, A5L and AUDI E5 Sportback all debut with Huawei ADS. All three deepen Chinese tech partnerships to accelerate electrification and smart-cockpit roll-outs.

Mitsubishi Debuts Global SUV Destinator in Indonesia: 1.5T+CVT, 7-Seat, Terrain Modes
Mitsubishi has unveiled the global seven-seat Destinator SUV in Indonesia. Measuring 4,680×1,840×1,780 mm on a 2,815 mm wheelbase with 214 mm ground clearance, it packs a 1.5-litre turbo 163 PS/250 Nm engine and CVT. The 5+2 seats fold flat, 18-inch wheels and five terrain modes are standard; top trims add panoramic roof, 12.3-inch infotainment, Yamaha audio and L2 ADAS. Destinator will roll out to Vietnam, Philippines, Middle East, Africa and South America; right-hand-drive configuration points to future Malaysia entry.

Huawei-backed Stelato will launch the S9T wagon in September. Keeping the “Cosmic Aesthetics” language, it debuts Misty Green paint, crystal-cut headlights and full-width taillights. Measuring 5160×2005×1492 mm with a 3050 mm wheelbase, its elongated rear boosts cargo and second-row headroom. An EREV variant with 118 kW 1.5T range-extender and a 227 kW BEV single-motor will be offered, targeting 816 km (BEV) or 365 km (EREV) range. 192-line LiDAR, solid-state LiDAR and 4D mmWave radar promise advanced AD capabilities.
