On July 10, Jetta officially unveiled the all-new VS8, a mid-size SUV featuring a bold “Warrior Armor” design language. Measuring 4,629×1,851×1,624 mm with a 2,731 mm wheelbase, the VS8 offers a tech-forward cabin with a 10.25-inch digital cluster and 14.6-inch floating infotainment screen. Power comes from a 1.4L turbocharged engine producing 110 kW, paired with a 6-speed automatic transmission. Built on the MQB EVO platform, it features MacPherson front and multi-link rear suspension, and includes Level 2 ADAS with over 20 active safety functions.

The AITO Ask 5 Ultra has officially started pre-sales with a starting price of 238,000 yuan. The mid-sized SUV offers both pure electric and extended-range powertrains, with new exterior colors like Zero-Degree White and Phantom Purple. The interior features a new chestnut orange color scheme and a column-mounted gear shift. In terms of intelligent driving, the vehicle is equipped with a 192-line lidar and 4D millimeter-wave radar, supporting AEB omnidirectional collision prevention and eAES automatic emergency steering. Ledao L90 flagship SUV pre-orders start at RMB 279,900 for outright purchase or RMB 193,900 under BaaS. The GWM Tank 500 Diesel is set to launch in Thailand this month to compete with the Toyota Fortuner and other models. It is powered by a 2.4-liter turbocharged diesel engine producing 184 hp and 480 Nm of torque, paired with a nine-speed automatic transmission, available in both 2WD and 4WD variants. The diesel model features a spare tire mounted under the car and a new suspension tune for improved comfort, especially for the middle row seats. Thai customers can choose from three seven-seater variants: Pro 2WD, Ultra 2WD Black Warrior, and the top-spec 4WD Black Warrior. The Black Warrior variant adopts a full black exterior, including a black front logo and black trim. The Tank 500 HEV was launched in Thailand in May, priced at RM328,800 on-the-road without insurance, powered by a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine and an electric motor, with a combined output of 346 PS/648 Nm and a switchable 4WD system.

At yesterday's launch of the Chery Tiggo Cross, Chery Malaysia revealed that it now has 58 outlets operational nationwide, including showrooms, service centers, and body and paint centers, covering Sabah and Sarawak. Since its return to the Malaysian market in July 2023, Chery has introduced four models, including the Omoda 5, Tiggo 8 Pro, Omoda E5, and Tiggo 7 Pro, with the latest addition being the Tiggo Cross, available in turbocharged and hybrid variants. Additionally, models from the Omoda | Jaecoo brand, such as the J7 and the upcoming J8 set to launch on July 18, as well as the iCaur brand's 03 and V23, are part of Chery's product lineup sold through separate dealerships.
