The Jaecoo J5, revealed in China in October 2024, is set to enter the UK market later this year, with deliveries beginning in the fourth quarter. Before that, the J5 will make its dynamic debut at the Goodwood Festival of Speed this weekend. The SUV will initially be offered with a 1.6L turbocharged four-cylinder engine from Chery, producing an expected 197 PS and 290 Nm of torque, paired with a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission. Two variants will be available in the UK: the Pure and the Luxury, with the latter featuring a panoramic glass roof, wireless charging, and heated/ventilated front seats. The minimalist interior includes a 13.2-inch portrait infotainment screen and a four-spoke steering wheel. The J5 is also designed to be “pet-friendly,” with features like extended seats for pets and an antibacterial health device. An all-electric version of the J5 will also be offered, with a single front motor producing 211 PS and 288 Nm of torque, and a 60.9 kWh battery pack offering an NEDC range of 470 km.

PT ADM (Astra Daihatsu Motor) has registered the design for the seventh-generation Daihatsu Move kei car, which has not yet been marketed in Indonesia. Although it is not confirmed for release, the GAIKINDO Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS) 2025 could be the platform for its debut.
