Malaysian Suzuki distributor Naza Eastern Motors has hinted at the potential introduction of the Suzuki eVitara electric SUV. The B-Segment SUV measures 4,275×1,800×1,635mm with a 2,700mm wheelbase and offers three configuration options with a maximum range of up to 500km. Chinese new energy vehicle maker Nio has officially announced its entry into the Singapore market, planning to launch its first right-hand drive model, the Firefly, in 2026. The electric vehicle, available in two versions in China at prices of RMB 119,800 and 125,800, can be more affordable with the Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) plan. Equipped with a 42.1 kWh LFP battery, Firefly has a CLTC range of 420 km and supports fast charging and V2L functions. With dimensions of 4,003mm×1,781mm×1,557mm and a wheelbase of 2,615mm, it is positioned as a five-seat compact hatchback EV. Nio also plans to expand into other markets, including Costa Rica and Uzbekistan, with a range of models.
