A new Wuling Silver-Label MPV has been spied in domestic social media. The vehicle is expected to have a similar size to the Wuling Kaijie, featuring a 7-seat layout and targeting the home-use market. The exterior adopts a new design language with square headlights, low-drag wheels, and a sliding door. The rear includes a large spoiler and “Y”-shaped taillights. The interior features a multifunctional flat-bottom steering wheel, a simple dashboard, and leatherette seats. On May 20th, HEDMOS, the new brand under GAC Peugeot Citroën, launched its first model, the Shijie 06. The compact SUV is available in one configuration with an official price of 125,800 yuan, and a limited-time offer price of 108,800 yuan. The Shijie 06 features a typical family design with sharp headlights and adaptive lighting. Honda has announced a strategic realignment, lowering its sales targets and scaling back investment plans for electric vehicles. CEO Toshihiro Mibe revealed that the company will now invest seven trillion yen (down from the previously planned 10 trillion yen) in EVs and software development. Honda expects the proportion of EVs in its total sales to fall below the previously announced target of 30% by 2030, likely closer to 20%, due to changes in market conditions. To offset this, Honda will shift focus to hybrids, launching 13 next-generation HEV models globally from 2027 onwards. These HEVs will feature improved fuel efficiency and cost reductions of over 30% compared to current models. Despite the shift, Honda remains committed to EVs as the optimal solution for achieving carbon neutrality, with the upcoming 0 Series (including the 0 SUV and saloon) remaining a key part of its future EV strategy.

The new Cadillac XT4 is set to launch on May 25th, with a price range of 229,700-275,700 yuan.
