Spy shots of the new Mercedes-Benz GLB have been revealed. The vehicle is built on the MMA platform and will offer mild-hybrid and electric powertrains. The exterior features a closed grille, sharp headlights, a rounded front end, and new multi-spoke wheels. The rear includes a flip-up Mercedes logo and a rearview camera. The electric version will use an 800V architecture with power ranging from 200 to 300 hp, battery capacities between 58 and 85 kWh, and options for two-wheel and four-wheel drive. An AMG version may also be available. The mild-hybrid model is expected to feature a 1.5T engine. The new GLB is set to debut in Q2 2026, and the current EQB is likely to be discontinued.

BYD Seal 6 EV to Debut First Outside China in Malaysia on Sept 26, Estimated from RM150k
BYD Malaysia will stage the global debut of the Seal 6 saloon—known as the Qin L EV in China—on 26 Sept. Riding on e-Platform 3.0 Evo, the rear-drive BEV measures 4.72 m long with a 2.82 m wheelbase. Two Blade-LFP packs are offered: 46.08 kWh (110 kW/220 Nm, ≈380 km WLTP) and 56.64 kWh (160 kW/330 Nm, ≈430 km WLTP), both 30-80 % in 24 min and 6 kW V2L.
