The 2026 Lynk & Co C16 has begun pre-sales on June 6th, with six models available at a pre-sale price range of 169,800-189,800 RMB. The new models retain the current design and introduce a 5-seat variant with more spacious rear seating. All models come standard with a 128-line LiDAR and the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8650 chip for end-to-end driving assistance, including a new memory parking feature. For powertrains, the range-extender model uses a 1.5L engine with increased pure-electric range up to 280km and a shorter 0.32-hour charging time from 30% to 80%. The pure-electric model now offers a 630km range with a slightly increased motor power of 220kW, maintaining a maximum torque of 360Nm.

FAW Toyota bZ5 is set to officially launch on June 10th, with a pre-sale price range of 130,000-160,000 RMB. Bookings come with an offer of 500 RMB deposit offsetting 5,000 RMB off the purchase price. The bZ5 is a mid-size pure electric SUV with two range options: 550km and 630km. The high-end model features the Momenta5.0 urban driving assistance system. The exterior design includes a star-ring light strip and boomerang-shaped headlights, with a coupe-SUV body style and Through-type taillights . Spy shots of the full-size six-seat SUV have been revealed. The vehicle, codenamed “Taishan,” is expected to be officially launched in 2025. The front features a large closed grille with a significant gap above it, which could be a vent or a Through-type light source design. The test vehicle does not have a lidar sensor on the roof, but different intelligent driving options may be available in the future. The body has a square design with large triangular windows between the C and D pillars, suggesting ample third-row space. Spy shots of the new Jetta VS7 interior have been revealed, though the interior is not the final production version. The car features a center console screen similar to the ID. family design, but the console mold is still from the current model, indicating a temporary screen. The steering wheel is also a temporary part from the Volkswagen brand, not Jetta. The gearshift on the central console has disappeared, suggesting a possible shift to a column shifter design. The exterior remains in mule car form, using the old VS7 shell, indicating a significant time before launch. The powertrain is expected to remain consistent with the current 1.4T turbocharged engine, with a maximum power of 110 kW and a maximum torque of 250 Nm.

Spy shots of the Tensei N8L interior have been revealed. The new model is positioned as a large SUV with upgraded dimensions. The interior layout is consistent with the Tensei N9, featuring a four-spoke steering wheel, a floating center console screen, air vents, and physical buttons, along with a wireless charging pad and a wide center console. It is expected to be equipped with a 17.3-inch center console screen, a 13.2-inch co-driver entertainment screen, and a 13.2-inch digital instrument cluster. The exterior adopts the latest family design language of Tensei, with split headlights and a simplified closed grille. The vehicle measures 5200/1999/1990 (1820) mm in length, width, and height, with a wheelbase of 3075 mm. The rear license plate has been moved to the rear bumper for a cleaner tailgate design. The new model also offers an optional rooftop drone bay and is powered by a 2.0T engine hybrid system from BYD Automotive Industry Co., Ltd.

On June 4th, FAW-Volkswagen signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the Tianjin Economic Development Area. According to the MOU, two new energy vehicles based on the new CMP platform of Volkswagen Group will be produced at FAW-Volkswagen's Tianjin plant in 2027. This year, FAW-Volkswagen will also launch three new or facelifted models and eight annual refresh models, including the TAYRON L, the new TALAGON, and the SAGITAR L. The cooperation will further advance FAW-Volkswagen's layout in the new energy vehicle sector.
