On 11 Sept, Beijing-Benz confirmed the first MMA-platform model—the all-new electric CLA—has rolled off the line. Built with 800 V architecture, a 2-speed gearbox and MB.OS domain compute, the sedan offers urban and highway pilot assist. A zinc-coated steel body and 6000-series aluminium cut weight by 54 %, while Rodip e-coat promises 30-year corrosion protection. A 3 000 RMB deposit opened 11 July can multiply up to 10-fold and includes ADAS package perks ahead of an autumn market launch.
