The 2026 Lexus RX lineup arrives with seven trims priced from 380,000 to 619,000 RMB, unchanged year-on-year. All variants now feature a 14-inch centre display and LSS+ 3.0 safety suite; a 500-unit RX 300 Black Edition adds matte-black paint and 21-inch smoked wheels. Powertrains carry over: 2.0T turbo, 2.5L hybrid/PLUG-IN and 2.4T hybrid, delivering 182–273 kW combined.

Mercedes-Maybach launches the GLS 480 Li Yi Edition at 1.498 million RMB, becoming the range’s entry trim with 4- or 5-seat layouts. Vertical chrome grille, MAYBACH badging, 22-/23-inch exclusive wheels and 15 paint options continue brand DNA. Cabin gains 33-inch 9K curved display; Metropolitan trim aligns tail-lamps/wheels with upper grades, Premium Luxury offers Platinum-level Opera interior, Luxury adds ventilated seats and wheel heating.

We obtained first spy shots of Luxeed’s maiden MPV, internal code “EHV”. Riding on the Chery-Huawei E0X-L large EV platform, the >5 m model will offer both BEV and range-extended powertrains and is slated to launch in H1 next year. Despite heavy camouflage, the exterior shows a full-width LED DRL and rounded nose consistent with Luxeed design. BMW has started building prototypes of its third-generation hydrogen fuel-cell system, scheduled for series production in 2028 in the next-gen X5. Co-developed with Toyota, the stack is 25 % smaller, delivers higher power density and efficiency, and drops straight into existing EV architectures. The modular hydrogen storage system—winner of a 2024 WNEVC “Global Frontier Technology” award—increases H₂ capacity while boosting body rigidity, giving BMW a flexible FCEV option alongside BEVs and PHEVs by 2028.

Genesis confirmed at Hyundai’s 2025 Investor Day that the X Gran Equator concept will spawn a production luxury off-roader aimed squarely at the Mercedes-Benz G-Class and Land Rover Defender. The 5-metre-plus SUV blends a 3.2-metre hood, fast C-pillar and 24-inch bead-lock wheels with all-terrain tyres. Inside, four circular gauges and swivel front seats underline its “digital-retro” ethos. Hybrid and BEV powertrains are planned, with market launch expected before 2027 .
