Porsche will launch the world’s first series 11 kW wireless “One-Box” floor charger in 2026, initially for the new all-electric Cayenne. A vehicle-side receiver between the front axles enables 90 % efficient, contactless charging over a few centimetres; the car auto-lowers and the 117 × 78 × 6 cm, 50 kg slab offers LTE/WLAN, foreign-object detection and OTA updates. The system is TÜV-approved for outdoor use and integrates with the My Porsche app for timer and pre-conditioning functions. A 400 kW DC option will also debut; a fluorescent-wrapped prototype is on show at IAA Mobility Munich.
