Mazda Malaysia has officially launched the CX-60, offered in a single 2.5 2WD variant priced at RM200,510.40 (peninsula, excluding insurance). Built on Mazda’s new rear-wheel-drive platform, the 4,740mm-long SUV slots above the CX-5 and is powered by a 189HP/261Nm 2.5L SkyActiv-G petrol mated to an 8AT. Standard kit includes 20-inch alloys, full-LED lighting, panoramic sunroof, twin 12.3-inch displays, Bose audio, Qi wireless charging, full L2 ADAS and seven airbags. Geely to Re-enter South Africa with EX5 EV & Starray PHEV, Targets 13,000 Sales in 2026
Cars.co.za reports Geely will officially return to South Africa later this year after a decade-long absence, starting with 35 dealers and targeting 80 by 2028. The launch line-up leads with the fully electric EX5 (twin to Proton eMas 7) and Starray EM-i PHEV, followed in 2026 by the E22H EV sedan, RD6 electric pick-up, petrol Coolray (Proton X50 sibling) and large SUV Monjaro. Geely aims for 13,000 sales in 2026, 15,000 in 2027 and 20,000 in 2028, covering South Africa’s right-hand-drive market comprehensively.
