BMW Group Unveils 2025 Chengdu Auto Show Lineup: M2 CS and MINI Family in the Spotlight
At the 2025 Chengdu Auto Show, BMW Group showcased an impressive lineup. The BMW M family presented 9 models, with the new BMW M2 CS making its official debut. It features lightweight design, carbon fiber trunk, bronze wheels, and red brake calipers, powered by a 3.0T engine with 530 horsepower. The MINI family unveiled 10 customized models, including the “Dressage” limited edition with gold rally-style wheels and a full white roof, paying tribute to classic rally races.
Zeekr 7X Launched in Malaysia, Set to Debut at Kuala Lumpur Tower on August 22
Zeekr Malaysia's official social media has announced that the Zeekr 7X electric SUV will be launched at the Kuala Lumpur Tower on August 22, 2025. The public will be able to get up close and personal with the Zeekr 7X at the event and test drive during the weekend of August 23 - 24, 2025, by filling out the registration form. The official brochure shows that the Zeekr 7X will be available in three versions: RWD Standard Range (RM182,000), RWD Long Range (RM195,000), and AWD Performance (RM230,000). Five exterior colors are available, with Crystal White, Onyx Black, Tech Grey, and Forest Green available for all versions, while Brooke Blue (with a silver roof) is exclusive to the AWD Performance. The Zeekr 7X's main competitors include the Tesla Model Y, BYD Sealion 7, and Xpeng G6, with price ranges of RM195,450 - RM242,450, RM187,710 - RM203,710, and RM168,820 - RM188,820 respectively.
Tesla Model Y L Unveiled: Longer Axle and 6-Seat Layout
Tesla Model Y L has been unveiled with significant changes. As an extended version of Model Y, the new model features a redesigned rear section and a 6-seat layout in three rows. The vehicle's dimensions have been upgraded, with a length of 4976mm, width of 1920mm, and height of 1668mm, and an axle distance of 3040mm. Compared to the standard Model Y, the length has increased by 179mm, the height by 44mm, and the axle distance by 150mm. In terms of power, it is equipped with front and rear dual motors, with maximum powers of 142kW and 198kW respectively, and an 82kWh battery pack, offering a CLTC range of 751km. The new model is expected to be released and marketed soon, with rumored prices ranging from 300,000 to 400,000 yuan.

Chery Fengyun X3L Set to Launch, Powered by Kunpeng Range-Extended System
The Chery Fengyun X3L is set to launch on September 9th, equipped with the Kunpeng Gold Range-Extended CEM-S system, a combination of a 1.5T engine and an electric motor, offering a comprehensive range of over 1,000 kilometers. The new model features a boxy design with a through-type front grille and headlights, wide fenders, and low-drag wheels. Its dimensions are 4545 mm (1950 mm), 1815 mm (1950 mm), and a wheelbase of 2783 mm. The interior features a 15.6-inch central control screen and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8155 chipset, with an overall design oriented towards hardcore off-road performance. The electric motor generates 315 kW of power and has a maximum torque of 505 Nm. It accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.7 seconds and has a pure electric range of 215 kilometers. The new model will debut at the Chengdu Auto Show on August 29th, with pre-sales opening.

Infiniti QX65 Official Images Released, Coupe SUV Design Attracts Attention
On August 16, Infiniti released the official images of its mid-large SUV, the QX65, which is expected to be officially launched in 2026. In terms of appearance, the QX65 features a large front grille, complemented by matte black vertical elements, a star-ring light strip, and narrow headlights. The lower part of the car's head is equipped with a Through-type air intakes enhance cooling performance. The side of the car features a coupe-like SUV design with sleek lines and gloss black spoked wheels with chrome trim. The rear features through-type taillights and a distinctive diffuser for a sporty feel. Power is provided by a 2.0T turbocharged engine with a maximum power of 272 horsepower and a peak torque of 387 Nm, mated to a 9-speed automatic transmission. A variety of configurations are available.

Ford Bronco 1966 Opens for Pre-Sales, Special Edition Upgraded
On August 16, Ford announced that its mid-size SUV, the Ford Bronco 60th Anniversary Edition, has been renamed Ford Bronco 1966 and opened for pre-sales. Two configurations are available: the Standard Edition and the Big Foot Edition, with pre-sale prices of 386,600 yuan and 436,600 yuan respectively. Orders placed before September 30 will enjoy a 2,000 yuan deposit offsetting 5,000 yuan of the purchase price and a retro folding bicycle. The new model retains the design style of the regular version but adjusts the front grille and wheel design, adding retro styling kits and offering three colors: Robin's Egg Blue, Crystal Green, and Sand Dune White. The tail features vertical taillights, an external spare tire, and a side-opening tailgate. The standard version has an approach angle of 38 degrees, a departure angle of 31 degrees, and a minimum ground clearance of 237/242mm; the Big Foot version has an approach angle of 45 degrees, a departure angle of 37 degrees, and a minimum ground clearance of 273mm. The new model was showcased at the 2025 Shanghai Auto Show.
