On July 11, Geely launched the 2026 ICON Chocolate at a promo price of 7.98-8.58 k RMB. The 4 350 mm compact SUV adds four new colours and keeps the 133 kW 1.5TD+7DCT combo, delivering 6.3 L/100 km WLTC. Standard kit includes Flyme Auto, 14.6-inch screen, heated front seats and Bluetooth smart key.

On July 10, Jetta officially unveiled the all-new VS8, a mid-size SUV featuring a bold “Warrior Armor” design language. Measuring 4,629×1,851×1,624 mm with a 2,731 mm wheelbase, the VS8 offers a tech-forward cabin with a 10.25-inch digital cluster and 14.6-inch floating infotainment screen. Power comes from a 1.4L turbocharged engine producing 110 kW, paired with a 6-speed automatic transmission. Built on the MQB EVO platform, it features MacPherson front and multi-link rear suspension, and includes Level 2 ADAS with over 20 active safety functions.

On July 15, JETOUR launched the Explorer 1.5TD Plus at RMB 132,900. The compact SUV retains the boxy design with a “JETOUR” badge and chrome trim, exuding a rugged look. The spy photos of the new Haval 2nd Generation Big Dog HEV hybrid version were exposed, with the tail label "HEV", indicating that it may launch a hybrid version. Compared with the Hi4 plug-in hybrid version, the appearance of the new car continues the family design, with a larger semi-enclosed grille on the front face, a body size of 4705/1908/1780mm, and a wheelbase of 2810mm. At present, the Haval 2nd Generation Big Dog has been available in fuel version and plug-in hybrid version, and the addition of the hybrid version will further enrich the product matrix.

The pure-electric AITO M8 is slated for MIIT listing and small-scale pre-orders in July. Featuring a 100 kWh battery, its price is expected to exceed the ¥359,800–449,800 range of the EREV variants. Concurrently, Li Auto will open reservations for the six-seat i8 on July 17, and NIO will unveil the next-gen ES8 in September, intensifying rivalry in the full-size electric SUV segment.

The 2025 Beijing X7 Lexiang Edition is officially launched at a price of 119,900 yuan, further lowering the starting price. The new car adopts Kirin wing front grille and through-type headlights, sports smoked black wheels, and cancels hidden door handles. The interior retains the dual-screen design (7-inch LCD instrument + 12.3-inch central control screen), adds wood texture trim, and is equipped with panoramic sunroof, 64-color ambient light, dual-zone automatic air conditioning, automatic parking, in-car Wi-Fi, intelligent voice interaction and online music.
