The test vehicle does not have a lidar sensor on the roof, but different intelligent driving options may be available in the future. The body has a square design with large triangular windows between the C and D pillars, suggesting ample third-row space. The tailgate uses a traditional one-piece opening method and features slender taillights. The vehicle is also expected to be equipped with Gankun ADS4.0 driving assistance and Hongmeng Cockpit 5.0.

Spy shots of the new Jetta VS7 interior have been revealed, though the interior is not the final production version. The car features a center console screen similar to the ID. family design, but the console mold is still from the current model, indicating a temporary screen. The steering wheel is also a temporary part from the Volkswagen brand, not Jetta. The gearshift on the central console has disappeared, suggesting a possible shift to a column shifter design. The exterior remains in mule car form, using the old VS7 shell, indicating a significant time before launch. The powertrain is expected to remain consistent with the current 1.4T turbocharged engine, with a maximum power of 110 kW and a maximum torque of 250 Nm.

Spy shots of the Tensei N8L interior have been revealed. The new model is positioned as a large SUV with upgraded dimensions. It is expected to be equipped with a 17.3-inch center console screen, a 13.2-inch co-driver entertainment screen, and a 13.2-inch digital instrument cluster. The exterior adopts the latest family design language of Tensei, with split headlights and a simplified closed grille. FAW Toyota bZ5 is set to officially launch on June 10th, with a pre-sale price range of 130,000-160,000 RMB. On June 5, 2025, Chongqing Changan Automobile Co., Ltd. announced that its indirect controlling shareholder, Ordnance Group, will be split into an independent central enterprise for its automotive business, with the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council (SASAC) as the investor. After the split, Changan's indirect controlling shareholder will change to the new central enterprise, but the actual controller remains unchanged. The split and reorganization will not have a significant impact on Changan's operations.
