Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) has announced a one-month pause in shipments to the US to address the 25% tariff imposed by the Trump administration. The US is a crucial market for JLR, accounting for nearly a quarter of its global sales. The company stated that the shipment pause is a short-term measure while it develops mid- to long-term plans to navigate the new trade conditions. The UK automotive industry, which directly employs 200,000 people, is highly exposed to the new tariffs.
