Avatr 06 Successfully Passes 50% Offset Crash Test in Global E-NCAP 2026 Challenge

Avatr 06, a luxury sedan from Avatr Technology, has successfully passed the 50% offset crash test in the global E-NCAP 2026 challenge. Based on the AVATR 2.0 design philosophy, the vehicle offers two intelligent driving options: LiDAR and pure vision from Qiankun. In the crash test, Avatr 06's high-strength body structure, including 2000Mpa hot-stamped ultra-high-strength steel and integrated high-pressure aluminum castings, ensured no damage to the A-pillar and complete occupant compartment protection. It is equipped with nine airbags, the most in its class, including unique rear side airbags and far-side airbags, as well as advanced seatbelt systems, providing comprehensive occupant protection. The vehicle will be available for pre-sale on March 27 and officially launched in April.

Mitsubishi has unveiled the global seven-seat Destinator SUV in Indonesia.
