Aion brand has officially launched its Central Asian export base and completed the delivery of the first batch of 1,000 vehicles in Tajikistan, with the opening of its first store in Nepal. Aion plans to focus on the Southeast Asian market and establish seven major production and sales bases globally, including in Central Asia, West Asia, the Americas, Africa, and Europe, within the next 1-2 years to radiate to global markets. In 2023, the total import volume of electric vehicles in Tajikistan was 3,300 units, and Aion's delivery of 1,000 units accounts for nearly one-third of the market, setting a new record for a single import of new energy vehicles in Tajikistan. Aion has a comprehensive industrial chain, achieving full-stack independent research and development and production of core three-electric technologies, and has built a complete industrial chain closed loop. Factories in Thailand and Indonesia are under construction and expected to start production within the year. Aion will leverage local advantages to achieve cost control and technological synergy, promoting scaled development.

The 2026 Lexus RX lineup arrives with seven trims priced from 380,000 to 619,000 RMB, unchanged year-on-year. All variants now feature a 14-inch centre display and LSS+ 3.0 safety suite; a 500-unit RX 300 Black Edition adds matte-black paint and 21-inch smoked wheels. Powertrains carry over: 2.0T turbo, 2.5L hybrid/PLUG-IN and 2.4T hybrid, delivering 182–273 kW combined.

During the 29th UN Climate Change Conference, NIO announced a strategic cooperation agreement with Azerbaijani partner Green Car to officially enter the Azerbaijan market. Green Car will act as NIO's national distributor, responsible for building sales and service networks, ensuring consistent user experience. NIO plans to start product delivery in Azerbaijan in Q2 2025, further expanding its global footprint.

In May 2025, Argentina's vehicle production reached 48,109 units, up 5.8% month-on-month and 25.2% year-on-year. Vehicle exports amounted to 26,346 units, marking a 16.4% increase from April and a 14.7% rise from May 2024. In the first five months, total vehicle production reached 207,630 units, up 12.4% from the same period in 2024, while exports totaled 106,894 units, up 0.9%. The Association of Automobile Manufacturers (ADEFA) noted that despite a slowdown in export growth, the domestic market remains strong. Future efforts will focus on boosting production and exports, leveraging the growth opportunities in the Latin American market.

Zeekr will launch its first hybrid flagship, the 9X large SUV, on 29 Sept. Built on the-S platform, the 5,239 mm-long model features a 120 cm chrome grille, diamond-matrix lighting and roof LiDAR. Three trims are pre-priced at 479,900-569,900 yuan, delivering 288-355 km electric range, 20-80 % charge in 15 min, sub-4 s 0-100 km/h and the Qian-Li-Hao-Han H9 ADAS.

FAW-VW’s 2026 CC line arrives with four sedan and Shooting Brake variants priced 224,900-249,900 yuan. The facelift retains frameless doors and 4,865/4,869 mm length, adds optional app-based remote control, switches to faux-leather seats and deletes steering-wheel paddles, while powertrains carry over unchanged 2.0 T high/low outputs.
