BYD Malaysia has launched the 2025 upgraded BYD Seal, available in two variants: Premium and Performance, priced at RM171,800 and RM191,800, respectively. The new model is RM8,000 cheaper than its predecessor. The first 300 customers will receive a promotional package worth RM10,888, including a free wall-mounted charger, regular maintenance services, and exclusive rebates. The upgraded Seal features minor enhancements, such as an increased front trunk capacity from 50 liters to 53 liters, new alloy wheels, and an electric sunroof blind. The Performance variant comes with the DiSus-C adaptive damping system, while the Premium variant features frequency selective dampers (FSD). The Premium version is equipped with a rear motor producing 313 hp and 360 Nm of torque, with an 82.56 kWh battery offering a range of 570 km (WLTP standard). The Performance version features a dual-motor all-wheel drive with a combined output of 530 hp and 670 Nm, with a range of 520 km. Both variants support up to 150 kW DC fast charging and 7 kW AC charging, with a full charge time of 15.2 hours using a home charger. Safety features include nine airbags, a 360-degree camera, front and rear parking sensors, ISOFIX child seat interfaces, adaptive cruise control (ACC), automatic emergency braking (AEB), and more.
