Arcfox T1 has started blind orders, with display vehicles arriving at over 500 stores in 214 cities nationwide. The pre-sales launch event will be held at 19:30 on August 22. The vehicle features the ARC-FLOW concept design language, with a rounded body and a narrow-top, wide-bottom rear design. The distinctive taillights and spoiler add a sporty touch. On August 17, the Audi E5 Sportback, a new mid-size model from SAIC Volkswagen Audi, officially began pre-sales with four configurations priced from 235,900 to 319,900 RMB. Dongfeng Fengxing's new mid-large MPV, the Xinghai V9 Yue Xiang series, is set to launch tomorrow with a pre-sale price starting at 199,900 yuan. The vehicle features a multi-bar horizontal chrome grille, split headlights, and a Through-type taillights，with dimensions of 5230/1920/1820mm and a wheelbase of 3018mm. The interior is equipped with dual 12.3-inch screens, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8155 chip, and Tencent TAI 4.0 system, adopting a 2+2+3 seating layout. Some models offer heated, ventilated, and massaging seats. It is powered by a 1.5T plug-in hybrid system with a pure electric range of 200km, a comprehensive range of 1300km, a fuel consumption of 5.27L/100km in charge-depleting mode, and a 0-100km/h acceleration time of 9.5 seconds.

NIO has announced a price adjustment for its full series 100kWh long-range battery pack and corresponding whole vehicle prices. The battery pack price has been reduced from 128,000 yuan to 108,000 yuan. The adjustment involves models such as ET5, ET5T, ES6, EC6, ET7, EC7, ET7 Signature Edition, ET9, and ET9 Signature Edition. The whole vehicle prices range from 336,000 yuan to 788,000 yuan, while the BaaS battery leasing scheme prices range from 228,000 yuan to 660,000 yuan. The battery leasing service fee is uniformly 1,128 yuan per month.

As the market share of battery-electric vehicles grows, demand for user support services such as mobile charging and rescue recharge is also on the rise. For owners of the newly launched BYD Atto 2, Sime Motors has partnered with Power Up Malaysia to provide vehicle charging support. This service is included in the 12-month Sime Platinum 4+ by Power Up subscription, offering up to four mobile vehicle charging sessions per month, up to two vehicle hand-wash, vacuum, and tyre shine services per month, and up to two free EV rescue services per year in selected areas. The Power Up mobile charging/rescue vehicle, based on a single-cab Ford Ranger, is equipped with a 120 kWh battery and can dispense up to 120 kW DC. The initial deployment covers Kuala Lumpur, Petaling Jaya, and Penang, with plans to expand to four units in Kuala Lumpur and Petaling Jaya, and two in Penang by the end of the year. Full coverage of Klang Valley and Penang will be achieved by January 2026, with Johor Bahru included by Q1 2026. Allianz also operates an EV rescue fleet, including the RoboRanger, a remote-controlled robotic cart for confined spaces, and two conventional EV Ranger vehicles, each providing up to 10 kWh of charge at up to 80 kW DC. These services are part of the Allianz EV Shield vehicle insurance policy for EVs, with policyholders receiving RM200 in charging credits.

The 2026 Kia Carnival is set to launch on September 1. As an annual update, the model will focus on configuration adjustments and optimizations while retaining the current exterior design, featuring a large front grille, honeycomb mesh, irregular LED daytime running lights, and silver chrome accents. The interior is expected to continue with the dual 12.3-inch screen setup, three-spoke multifunction steering wheel, and rotary electronic gear shift, with a 2+2+3 seven-seat layout. Powering the vehicle is a 2.0T turbocharged engine with a maximum power of 171 kW and a maximum torque of 353 Nm, paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission. The new model is expected to enhance competitiveness through increased configurations and potential price reductions, along with more purchase incentives.
