The EZ-60, making its southwest debut, features nine aero ducts, a 4 nm cockpit SoC and a 100-inch naked-eye 3D HUD, with pre-orders topping 35 k. The EZ-6 secured a C-NCAP five-star rating, leading the 2024 cohort with 97.1 % occupant protection.

Chery Fengyun X3 Series to Launch on August 16 with Multiple Powertrain Options
Chery's new compact SUV, the Fengyun X3 series, will be officially launched on August 16, including the Fengyun X3, Fengyun X3L, and Fengyun X3 PLUS. The vehicles feature a boxy design with a closed grille to highlight their new energy identity, complemented by vertical headlights and a rugged lower bumper. The Fengyun X3L is larger in size and offers both single-motor and dual-motor four-wheel drive models, with a 1.5T engine as the range extender, offering a maximum power of 115 kW. The pure electric range comes in three versions: 90 km, 145 km, and 150 km.

The BAOJUN Yunhai Junya Edition was officially launched on August 14, with two models priced at 112,900 RMB and 132,900 RMB respectively. The trade-in prices are 102,900 RMB and 122,900 RMB. The new model features a unique Junya Blue exterior color, with dimensions of 4590/1880/1608mm and an unchanged wheelbase of 2750mm. The interior includes Junya Blue accents and stitching, as well as exclusive signature embroidery and a "Junya Greeting" feature. The vehicle is powered by a 150kW electric motor, with battery capacities of 56.7kWh and 69.2kWh, offering CLTC ranges of 500km and 600km.
Volvo XC70 Pre-Sales Begin, Set to Launch in September to Fill Product Gap
The Volvo XC70 is set to begin pre-sales on August 27 and is expected to officially launch in September. Stellantis Shifts Focus to Leapmotor in Malaysia with Plans for Local Assembly
Stellantis has declared Leapmotor as its main brand for Malaysia, with plans to locally assemble the Leapmotor C10 electric SUV by the end of 2025. The company has invested five million euros (RM24.5 million) to upgrade its Gurun plant, which has an annual capacity of 60,000 units. Future plans include assembling more models, including the smaller B10 electric SUV. This move aims to leverage Malaysia's tax incentives and prepare for the end of tax breaks for imported EVs in 2026. Stellantis plans to use the Gurun plant's capacity not only for the Malaysian market but also for exports to other countries in the Asia-Pacific region.

As the most powerful production model in the Mustang lineup, the Dark Horse features a 5.0L V8 naturally aspirated engine with 507 horsepower and 57.8 kgf·m of torque, accelerating from 0 to 100km/h in just 3.7 seconds with a top speed of 250km/h. The exterior includes black elements and the distinctive Dark Horse emblem, while the interior features blue stitching and Brembo brake calipers. Toyota Thailand Launches Limited-Edition GR Supra Track Edition
Toyota Thailand has launched the GR Supra Track Edition, the final version of the fifth-generation GR Supra, designed specifically for track driving. Developed by Toyota GAZOO Racing, the vehicle features a 3.0L inline-six engine with 387 horsepower and 500 Nm of torque, paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission. The exterior includes matte black paint and a carbon fiber spoiler, while the interior features Alcantara seats and red seat belts. The car also comes with adaptive variable suspension and Brembo brakes for superior handling. The GR Supra Track Edition is available in limited quantities, priced at 5,749,000 THB, with the standard model priced at 5,349,000 THB. The new model will make its debut at the "Toyota Gazoo Racing Thailand 2025" event and will be showcased at the Bangkok Auto Salon 2025.
