Refreshed AITO M7 Spied: Longer Wheelbase, First-Ever EV Variant, Pre-orders in August
Spy shots reveal the refreshed AITO M7 adopting M9-inspired styling and introducing its first pure-electric variant. Length grows to 5100 mm and wheelbase to 3050 mm for larger battery packaging. A full-width taillight with AD “blue indicator” completes the rear. Pre-orders are expected to open in August, with CLTC EV range likely exceeding 300 km.
2026 Geely ICON Chocolate Launched: From 7.98 k with Flyme Auto & 1.5TD
On July 11, Geely launched the 2026 ICON Chocolate at a promo price of 7.98-8.58 k RMB. The 4 350 mm compact SUV adds four new colours and keeps the 133 kW 1.5TD+7DCT combo, delivering 6.3 L/100 km WLTC. Standard kit includes Flyme Auto, 14.6-inch screen, heated front seats and Bluetooth smart key.
2026 Baojun Yunduo Launched: BEV & PHEV from RMB 99.8k
Baojun launched the 2026 Yunduo on 15 July in five variants, with trade-in prices of RMB 99.8–119.8k. The 4 590 mm compact SUV retains dual-face styling, 2 750 mm wheelbase, adds memory tailgate, new two-tone cabin and Lingyu AI cockpit. BEV offers 500 km CLTC range; PHEV delivers 60/140 km electric range and 4.86 L/100 km fuel consumption.

Changan Fourth-Gen CS75 PLUS Smart Supreme Launches at RMB 99.9k with Triple Displays & AI Model
On 17 July Changan launched the fourth-gen CS75 PLUS Smart Supreme at RMB 115.9k, effectively RMB 99.9k after incentives. The compact SUV measures 4 770 × 1 910 × 1 705 mm on a 2 800 mm wheelbase and offers a 725-1 620 L cargo bay. A triple-screen cockpit (10.25-, 14.6- and 12.3-inch) debuts the iFlytek Spark AI model, supports custom apps and remote smartphone control.

Refreshed Lynk & Co 08 EM-P Adds Roof-Mounted LiDAR for Enhanced ADAS
On 16 July MIIT filings revealed the updated Lynk & Co 08 EM-P. The 1.5-litre plug-in hybrid SUV gains subtle styling tweaks and a roof-mounted LiDAR for enhanced driver-assist. Dimensions remain 4 825 × 1 915 × 1 660 mm, wheelbase 2 848 mm, with a 200 km/h top speed.

One-Millionth Porsche Macan Rolls Off Leipzig Line as All-Electric Macan Enters Production
On 16 July, the one-millionth Porsche Macan was produced at the Leipzig plant, which has evolved into a full-scale factory since 2013, adding 1 500 jobs. The second-generation all-electric Macan is now in series production, offering up to 612 km WLTP range and 270 kW DC charging. The facility’s flexible single line handles combustion, hybrid and electric powertrains and was named “Factory of the Year 2023.”
