Spy shots of the full-size six-seat SUV have been revealed. The vehicle, codenamed “Taishan,” is expected to be officially launched in 2025. The front features a large closed grille with a significant gap above it, which could be a vent or a Through-type light source design. The test vehicle does not have a lidar sensor on the roof, but different intelligent driving options may be available in the future. The body has a square design with large triangular windows between the C and D pillars, suggesting ample third-row space. The tailgate uses a traditional one-piece opening method and features slender taillights. The vehicle is also expected to be equipped with Gankun ADS4.0 driving assistance and Hongmeng Cockpit 5.0.

FAW Toyota bZ5 is set to officially launch on June 10th, with a pre-sale price range of 130,000-160,000 RMB. The 2026 Lynk & Co C16 has begun pre-sales on June 6th, with six models available at a pre-sale price range of 169,800-189,800 RMB. On June 4th, FAW-Volkswagen signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the Tianjin Economic Development Area. According to the MOU, two new energy vehicles based on the new CMP platform of Volkswagen Group will be produced at FAW-Volkswagen's Tianjin plant in 2027. This year, FAW-Volkswagen will also launch three new or facelifted models and eight annual refresh models, including the TAYRON L, the new TALAGON, and the SAGITAR L. The cooperation will further advance FAW-Volkswagen's layout in the new energy vehicle sector.
