The cancellation of the US policy promoting electric vehicle production and sales by President Trump could impact Indonesia. GAIKINDO in Indonesia believes that the growth of internal combustion engine vehicles must continue, noting that the low resale value of electric vehicles is a reason for public hesitation. The Indonesian government is offering hybrid vehicle incentives to boost the sale of environmentally friendly vehicles.

On Sept 20, NIO inaugurated its 3,500th battery-swap station on Fuchun Road in Hangzhou’s Qianjiang CBD. The site sits beside major arterials, malls and residential blocks, giving local users rapid battery-swap access. NIO now operates 1,000+ highway swap points covering 9 north-south and 11 east-west corridors across 16 mega-city clusters and 550+ cities. From Aug 29 to Oct 12, NIO and Onvo drivers can swap free on the G318 Sichuan–Tibet route for National-Day travel.
