The Toyota Corolla Cross GR Sport has been launched in Japan at a price of 3.895 million yen (approximately RM115k), making it the most expensive variant in the refreshed Corolla Cross lineup. The GR Sport is exclusively available with a hybrid powertrain, featuring a 2.0L naturally-aspirated inline-four petrol engine producing 152 PS and 188 Nm of torque, paired with an E-CVT transmission and an E-Four electric all-wheel drive system. The GR Sport variant includes stiffer suspension bushings, lower ride height, and exclusive styling elements such as a Matrix grille, 19-inch wheels, black accents, and red brake calipers. The interior features sport seats with GR logos, suede-like upholstery, a GR-branded steering wheel, paddle shifters, and aluminium pedals.

It features a floating dual-screen setup, steering-column shifter, two-tone wheel and wireless charging for a clean dash. Slotting below the Q07 (¥129.8-171.8k), the Q05 is expected to start around ¥110-130k and launch in November, rounding out the brand’s affordable EV-SUV lineup.
