The new Land Rover Defender has been unveiled with minor exterior tweaks and interior upgrades. The vehicle features changes in rectangular headlights, grille design, and tail light shades, while maintaining the same body dimensions. The interior now includes a 13.1-inch infotainment screen, driver monitoring system, and adaptive off-road cruise control. Powertrains are expected to remain unchanged. On June 3, 2025, Chery released the official images of the Arrizo 8 PRO 2.0T. Compared to the 1.6T version, the 2.0T model features a more sporty design with a hexagonal star-ring grille, black honeycomb mesh structure, air vents and side ducts. On June 2, 2025, Toyota Kirloskar Motor announced the launch of the Fortuner and Legender Neo Drive variants equipped with an advanced 48V system. These variants feature a 2.8-litre turbo-diesel engine paired with a belt-integrated starter generator and lithium-ion battery, offering smoother acceleration, quieter operation, and improved fuel efficiency. The new Toyota Aygo X has been unveiled. Based on the TNGA GA-B platform, it is positioned as a crossover subcompact SUV with a 1.5L hybrid system. The exterior features a closed grille, sharp headlights, and 18-inch wheels, with an added GR Sport package for a sportier look. The interior is upgraded with a full LCD instrument panel.

Perodua's first pure electric vehicle (EV) is set to launch by the end of 2025. The small crossover SUV was showcased at the 2025 Malaysia Motor Show. Its trademark, “QV-E,” has been registered, with the blue “E” indicating electrification. The vehicle is expected to be priced around RM80,000 and may be sold with a battery leasing model, allowing owners to replace batteries as needed to mitigate aging concerns.
