On April 19, NIO's new brand Firefly launched its first model, the Firefly. The new model is available in two versions, the Free Version and the Glow Version, with starting prices of 119,800 yuan and 125,800 yuan respectively. Orders can be placed via the Firefly app and official mini-program starting today, with deliveries beginning on April 29. Positioned as a high-end smart electric compact car, Firefly is developed to meet the dual five-star safety standards of China and Europe, with 83.4% of the body made of high-strength steel and aluminum, and equipped with nine airbags and 13 active safety features. It is powered by a 42.1kWh long-life battery, offering a CLTC range of 420km and a low power consumption of only 10.9kWh per 100km. The car also shares NIO's energy replenishment network.

On June 2, 2025, Toyota Kirloskar Motor announced the launch of the Fortuner and Legender Neo Drive variants equipped with an advanced 48V system. These variants feature a 2.8-litre turbo-diesel engine paired with a belt-integrated starter generator and lithium-ion battery, offering smoother acceleration, quieter operation, and improved fuel efficiency. Since its debut in 2009, the Fortuner has set the benchmark in the premium SUV segment with its bold design and all-terrain capability. As of May 31, 2025, cumulative deliveries for the year reached 89,225, up 34.7% year-over-year, with a total cumulative deliveries of 760,789 vehicles.
