On Dec 28, Leapmotor unveiled the full-size MPV D99 featuring a wind-cheating “bullet-head” design and split pixel-DLP headlamps. The EREV variant introduces an industry-first dual-motor 4WD range-extender with an 80.3kWh pack, while the BEV rides on a 1000V architecture and debuts CATL’s 115kWh ultra-hybrid cell. Measuring ~5.2m, it offers a 1.46m² panoramic roof, ISD interactive tail-lamps and five body colors, setting a new benchmark for intelligent luxury MPVs.

On Dec 26, 46 Deepal L06 sedans fitted with the DEEPAL AD Max L3 stack received license plates and began operating on public roads, marking China’s first large-scale L3 autonomous fleet.
