The 2025 BMW i4 eDrive35 M Sport has been launched in Malaysia at RM294,800, or RM315,600 with a five-year warranty and six-year service package. This is significantly higher than its closest competitors, the RM181k-244k Tesla Model 3 and the RM164k-200k BYD Seal. However, the i4 eDrive35 M Sport comes with updated features such as a redesigned kidney grille, M high-gloss Shadowline trim, and 19-inch wheels. It also features adaptive LED headlights with BMW Selective Beam technology and laser tail lamps. The interior includes a new D-shaped sports steering wheel, black M PerformTex upholstery, and the BMW Curved Display (12.3-inch digital instrument cluster + 14.9-inch central touchscreen). The i4 eDrive35 M Sport is powered by a rear-mounted electric motor with 286 PS and 400 Nm of torque, accelerating from 0-100 km/h in six seconds. The 70.3 kWh battery (67.1 kWh usable) offers a WLTP range of 500 km, with DC fast charging from 10-80% in 32 minutes and a full charge in seven hours using an 11-kW AC charger.

Lynk & Co's Deputy General Manager Mu Jun revealed that the new Lynk & Co 01 will be launched in June. The new model will feature optimized exterior details and new matte paint options. Inside, the new Lynk & Co 01 will adopt a new floating center console screen, optimize the infotainment interface and console design, and enhance technology and convenience. The power system update is not yet clear. The current model is equipped with a 2.0T turbocharged engine with a maximum power of 187 kW and a maximum torque of 350 Nm.

On May 29, 2025, the annual conference of the China Automotive Power Battery Industry Innovation Alliance opened in Nanjing, themed on "Intelligence, Low-Carbon, and Globalization." Nearly a thousand industry experts attended. Suzuki April 2025 Production, Sales and Export Figures
In April 2025, Suzuki's global production reached 272,972 units, down 0.4% year-on-year for the third consecutive month. Japan production fell 11.3% to 76,884 units, while overseas production rose 4.6% to 196,088 units, driven by a 6.1% increase in India to 179,892 units. Global sales declined 1.3% to 255,656 units. Japan sales increased 4.9% to 58,574 units, with minivehicles up 0.8% to 45,957 units. Overseas sales fell 3.0% to 197,082 units due to lower sales in Europe despite a 1.1% increase in India. Exports dropped 28.4% to 16,325 units, down for the fourth consecutive month, mainly due to lower exports to Europe.
