Positioned as a mid-size MPV, it features a 1.5T engine-motor hybrid system with 92km WLTC pure electric range. The exterior retains the fuel version's spindle-shaped grille design, measuring 4850/1900/1740mm with a 2900mm wheelbase. Interior includes an 8.8-inch digital instrument cluster and 14.6-inch touchscreen, with power-adjustable, heated and ventilated seats in the first two rows. High-trim models feature L2 driver assistance with adaptive cruise control, lane centering, and automatic lane change assist.
Geely Haoyue L Facelift Previews Next-Gen Proton X90 with New 1.5L Turbo
The Geely Haoyue L receives its second facelift in China, introducing a new 1.5L BHE15 turbocharged four-cylinder engine producing 181 PS and 290 Nm, mated to a seven-speed wet dual-clutch transmission. Exterior revisions include a redesigned grille and bumper with chrome accents, while range-topping models feature new 20-inch alloy wheels. The infotainment system now runs Flyme Auto OS. This refresh will likely debut in Malaysia as the facelifted Proton X90 next year, replacing the existing three-cylinder engines and dropping the 48-volt mild hybrid system.
Perodua's First EV Concept Revealed with 52.5 kWh LFP Battery
Perodua showcased its first EV concept at a local event, confirming a 52.5 kWh lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery pack with 400-410 km range. Positioned as a B-segment SUV, the EV utilizes CATL battery technology, supporting 7 kW AC charging and DC fast charging capabilities. Performance specifications include 0-100 km/h acceleration in 6-7 seconds and a top speed of 160 km/h. The vehicle will adopt a battery leasing model, with pricing below RM100k and official launch slated for year-end.

EXEED ET5 to Launch Pre-sales Nov 13 with First Horizon HSD ADAS Integration
The EXEED ET5 mid-size SUV will begin pre-sales on November 13. Featuring a closed grille and split LED headlamps, it measures 4780/1890/1725mm with a 2800mm wheelbase. The cabin includes a digital instrument cluster, passenger display, and floating central touchscreen. As the first model with Horizon HSD ADAS and Journey 6P chipset, it integrates a roof-mounted LiDAR with multi-sensor fusion. Powertrain combines a 1.5T range extender with 165km pure electric range.

Dongfeng's Forthing to Launch in Malaysia with Friday REEV
Forthing, a Dongfeng Motor Group sub-brand founded in 2001, will enter Malaysia in December via distributor Wide Premium. The GATE expo showcased the Forthing Friday REEV SUV with a 1.5L range extender, 163PS electric motor and 31.9kWh battery, plus a pure EV variant (204PS, 64.4kWh). The U-Tour V9 PHEV seven-seater MPV features a 1.5T turbocharged engine paired with an electric motor. The Friday is priced around RM130,000.

Haval H6L Mid-Size SUV Set for November 18 Launch
The Haval H6L mid-size SUV is scheduled for November 18 launch, based on the Xiaolong MAX platform. Featuring rhythmic natural aesthetics, full-width lighting and X-shaped bumper design, it measures 4800/1895/1730mm with a 2810mm wheelbase—155mm longer and 130mm extended wheelbase over the H6. Lava-style taillights and diffuser-style lower bumper enhance its sporty appearance.
