Qijing has unveiled teaser images of its first shooting brake coupe, developed jointly by GAC and Huawei. The vehicle features Huawei's Qiankun ADS Level 3 conditional autonomous driving architecture with roof-mounted LiDAR, a low-slung aerodynamic silhouette, and semi-flush door handles. Equipped with an exclusive marque identity, the smart EV shooting brake is scheduled for debut in April with market launch following in June, targeting the premium intelligent coupe segment.

Toyota has teased a new US-market SUV believed to be the fifth-generation Highlander, potentially transitioning to full electrification on the e-TNGA architecture. The teaser image reveals a boxy silhouette, pronounced fenders and full-width LED taillights echoing the 2021 bZ Large SUV concept. The three-row battery-electric vehicle is expected to compete against the Kia EV9 and Hyundai Ioniq 9, with the existing Grand Highlander continuing to serve internal combustion customers.

Dongfeng Nissan's all-new mid-large SUV NX8 has officially rolled off the production line at Huadu Plant. Built on the Tianyan architecture, the vehicle debuts with an 800V high-voltage platform and CATL 5C ultra-fast charging technology. The updated second-generation BMW M2 (G87) has officially launched in the Malaysian market. The coupe features optional M Performance carbon fibre exterior components and a titanium exhaust system. Power comes from the S58 3.0-litre twin-turbo inline-six engine producing 480 PS and 600 Nm, paired with an eight-speed M Steptronic transmission and M Sport differential. The updated MINI Countryman EV features a silicon carbide inverter and increased net battery capacity to 65.2 kWh, boosting WLTP range to 501 km for the E variant and 467 km for the SE All4. BMW is evaluating a larger flagship SUV above the X7 to compete against American full-size rivals like the Cadillac Escalade. With the current X7 measuring 5,151 mm long with a 3,105 mm wheelbase, it trails the Escalade ESV by 615 mm in length and offers less than half the cargo capacity. The National Dealer Forum suggests utilizing the Alpina brand or iX9 trademark to penetrate the F-segment luxury SUV market.
