BYD's personalised brand Fangchengbao has revealed the Titanium 3 Flash Charging Edition and Titanium 7 EV Flash Charging Edition, set for debut at the March 5 technology conference. Both models will incorporate BYD's second-generation Blade Battery and megawatt flash charging technology. The Titanium 3 is expected to deliver 600km+ range with enhanced battery capacity, while the Titanium 7 EV may feature an oversized powered frunk for improved practicality. Both variants will share the brand's latest intelligent ecosystem, expanding Fangchengbao's product portfolio.

The sixth-generation Nissan Serena has launched in Malaysia with exclusive e-Power range-extender technology, replacing the previous S-Hybrid system. Locally assembled (CKD) in five variants priced RM154,800-RM179,800, the MPV features a 1.4L three-cylinder generator paired with a 163 PS/315 Nm electric motor, achieving 18.5 km/L NEDC fuel consumption. Early buyers receive RM5,000 cash rebates plus RM8,000 accessories. ProPilot driver assistance with ACC and LCA is available from Highway Star variant upward. Changan has introduced the Qiyuan A06 240 Laser Ultra+ as the new range-extender flagship, priced RMB 139,900—RMB 10,000 above the Ultra variant. Upgrades include 245/45 R19 wide tyres, active grille shutter, heated steering wheel, 220V outlet, second-row seat massage, heat pump AC, air purifier, in-car refrigerator and 28-point "Maldives" electric massage chair mode. Purchase incentives comprise RMB 8,000 trade-in scrappage subsidy for existing owners (RMB 6,000 for non-owners) and zero-interest financing on RMB 100,000 over five years, valid through March 31.

BYD's flagship electric coupe Seal 08 will debut on March 5, positioned in the RMB 300,000-350,000 segment. The model inherits Ocean-S concept design with closed grille, wave-pattern LED headlights and fastback silhouette, measuring over 5 metres in length with 3-metre-plus wheelbase. Built on 800V architecture with second-generation Blade Battery technology, it targets 1,000km+ CLTC range and megawatt flash charging capability enabling 400km range in 5 minutes. The AWD variant is expected to deliver 480kW+ output with sub-5-second 0-100km/h acceleration, complemented by Yunian intelligent damping control system.

Spy shots have revealed what appears to be the SAIC Audi A7L Sportback variant, based on the new-generation A6 Avant with a locally extended wheelbase. The rear features second-generation digital OLED tail lamps matching the global version, with 198 OLED elements per side enabling dynamic light signatures. The fastback roofline appears more aggressive than the standard Avant, while dual exhausts and a diffuser complete the rear styling. FAW Audi has separately confirmed plans to import the standard A6 Avant, creating a dual-channel product strategy for the Chinese market.

Proton's Advanced Modular Architecture (AMA) platform will underpin three new models—codenamed AMA 02, 05 and 06—including two SUVs and one MPV with wheelbase/track extendable up to 290mm. Renderings by Theophilus Chin preview an 'Ersaga' MPV concept combining Saga MC3 front fascia with Suzuki Ertiga proportions. The production MPV will feature i-GT family's DHE naturally-aspirated hybrid powertrain with DHT120 transmission, positioned below eMas 7 PHEV. The AMA strategy aims to diversify Proton's sedan-heavy portfolio while enhancing development efficiency and cost control across SUV and MPV segments.
