Hongqi, a luxury brand of FAW Group, has signed an MoU with Quill Group, which has obtained the exclusive rights as the official importer and CKD distributor for Hongqi’s entry into Malaysia. Hongqi plans to launch officially in Malaysia in the middle of this year, with its L5 model for VVIPs only, and is advancing the global layout of new energy SUVs.

On July 27, official images of the all-new BMW X5 China-version were released, offering both ICE and BEV variants with a 2027 launch. The ICE version features the fourth-generation B58 3.0L inline-six engine, while the BEV version is built on an 800V high-voltage architecture with CLTC pure electric range exceeding 1,000km. The exterior fully embraces BMW's new-generation design philosophy, featuring large continuous surfaces with fewer design elements, reducing the visual fragmentation from traditional design language to present a complete, flowing body form while further optimizing aerodynamic performance.

On 2026.07.27, the Maextro flagship MPV and Huawei full-scenario new product launch event has been officially scheduled for 2026.08.05 at 14:30, when the Maextro MPV will officially go on sale. The Maextro V680 is pre-priced from 650,000 to 900,000 yuan, while the Maextro V800 is pre-priced from 800,000 to 1,200,000 yuan, with pre-orders exceeding 10,000 units within 23 days of pre-sale opening. As Maextro's first luxury flagship MPV following the flagship S800 sedan, the two new models further strengthen the brand's portfolio in the ultra-luxury new energy market.

The GAC Trumpchi Yue 7 will officially launch on August 7, positioned as a rugged new energy SUV and the first to feature the 8838 chip with up to 300K DMIPS computing power. The exterior adopts a classic boxy body structure with straight, regular body lines, a closed front face with simplified GAC lettering, and square-exterior-round-interior headlights paired with vertical "7-shaped" daytime running lights. The powertrain features a 1.5T plug-in hybrid system. Roof-mounted LiDAR and additional sensor hardware on the front fenders suggest the new model will offer advanced driver assistance systems.

The current-generation "Next-Gen" Ford Ranger has been on sale in Malaysia since 2022, with its lineup quietly growing into one of the widest in the pick-up segment. It expanded again in July 2026 with four new variants—the Platinum 3.0, Sport 3.0, Sport 2.0, and a re-launched XL—taking the range to over a dozen versions including the Raptor. The lineup is currently in transition: the older 2.0L Bi-Turbo diesel has been discontinued globally, so variants still using it (and the pre-update single-turbo) remain on sale only until existing stock clears, the Raptor 2.0 included. From 2026.07.27 to 2026.08.02, multiple major new cars will launch/premiere, including the Zeekr 9X 5-Seater Edition, Audi Q9, FREELANDER 8, MG 07, and Wuling Yangguang Pro. The Xiaomi Pengcheng N90 is also expected to officially launch at the end of July. The Zeekr 9X 5-Seater Edition has opened pre-sale, continuing the 9X design language with dimensions of 5,239/2,029/1,819mm and a 3,169mm wheelbase. It features the Qianli Haohan intelligent driving solution with 43 high-precision perception sensors, including one 520-line long-range LiDAR and four high-precision solid-state LiDARs.
