Xiaomi revealed more details and interior images of the Pengcheng N90 Max, to officially launch on the evening of July 30. Rear doors open 90 degrees for easy boarding. First and second rows face each other for equal comfort. The sliding center console moves between rows with an eco table, instantly creating a four-person tea table. Third-row cushions fold away and second-row seats slide back extensively for generous legroom.

Toyota Veloz Hybrid at GIIAS 2026, half a year after its first unveiling at GIIAS Jakarta Auto Week. It's the third Indonesian-assembled Toyota hybrid (after Innova Zenix and Yaris Cross Hybrid) and cheapest, undercutting the Yaris Cross Hybrid from 399M IDR. Powertrain matches Vios/Yaris Cross Hybrid: 91PS/121Nm 1.5L 2NR-VEX engine, 80PS/141Nm electric motor, 111PS combined output, E-CVT, 0.7kWh battery. Four variants: V, Q, Q Modellista, Q TSS Modellista priced 303-389M IDR (RM69k-88k). TSS includes AEB, ACC, blind spot detection, lane departure warning/prevention, rear-cross traffic alert, and pedal misoperation control.

On July 29, the Ora 5 Sport Edition was spotted in real form. The new model features a two-tone exterior design with a dedicated black-and-yellow interior. According to the brand, the Ora 5 Sport Edition targets urban fashion while the Ora 5 GT focuses on handling and sport performance. The Sport Edition continues the brand's fashionable design language, meeting young users' aesthetic needs with its two-tone body and sport-oriented interior, further completing Ora's compact car market portfolio.

Suzuki XL7 Gets Facelift with New Front and Interior Design
PT Suzuki Indomobil Motor unveiled the facelifted XL7 three-row seven-seater SUV at GIIAS on July 29, to be produced at Cikarang Plant for domestic and export markets. New front grille and bumper enhance its commanding presence. Interior features redesigned door trims and instrument panel for a premium cabin. Upper-grade models offer a two-tone color scheme including new Ice Gray.

BMW iX3 L to Launch in Malaysia August 6, Wheel Base 3,005mm / 121-Degree Recline
BMW Group Malaysia announced the new iX3 L will officially launch in Malaysia on August 6. The first Neue Klasse EV model was revealed globally ten months ago, ushering a massive overhaul of design language, interior tech and powertrain. The iX3 L gains 108mm wheelbase to 3,005mm, extending length to 4,890mm, produced in Shenyang to benefit from Chinese EV import tax incentives. Features include pull-up door handles, monochromatic color scheme extending to steering wheel, dashboard and center console, thicker seats with built-in front passenger leg rest, and rear seats reclining up to 121 degrees.

Wuling Aira Launches in Indonesia: 2026 Hongguang Mini EV with Four-Leaf Clover Hubcaps
Indonesia is a huge market for Wuling, so the 2026-facelift Hongguang Mini EV (debuted China February) launches in Indonesia as the Wuling Aira at GIIAS 2026. The Bingo-like face is gone, now featuring wide-eyed design with chrome-rimmed spectacles, charging flap on nose, rear mirroring front. Dimensions 3,2681,5501,575mm, wheelbase 2,190mm—even a Kancil's wheelbase is longer—making it smaller than the already-diminutive Bingo.
