On March 5, 2025, the third session of the 14th National People’s Congress opened, with Premier Li Qiang delivering the Government Work Report. The report highlighted an 8.9% and 7.7% increase in value added by high-tech manufacturing and equipment manufacturing in 2024, with new energy vehicle production exceeding 13 million units. For 2025, the government will focus on developing intelligent and connected new energy vehicles, supporting large model applications, expanding 5G scale, accelerating industrial internet innovation, and optimizing the layout of computing power resources to build a globally competitive digital industry cluster.
