On October 29, Hongqi officially launched the Tiangong 08 620 AWD Ultra, a mid-to-large SUV priced at 237,900 yuan with a limited-time benefit price of 219,900 yuan. The exterior retains the existing design with a closed-off illuminated Hongqi badge for the new energy range and distinctive L-shaped split LED headlights, while the rear features a full-width light bar and aerodynamic spoiler package. Dimensions are 4,925×1,950×1,680mm with 3,000mm wheelbase. The cabin gets dual 15.6-inch integrated screens and Hongqi's Sinan driver assist system with highway NOA, urban NOA and full-scenario parking assist. Built on an 800V platform with dual motors producing 407kW and 770Nm, the vehicle also comes with air suspension, continuously variable damping and the Intelligent Magic Carpet for improved ride comfort.

Officially announced, the new Toyota Avalon will launch on November 5. Positioned as a Sino-foreign joint-venture mid-large flagship sedan with a 2870mm wheelbase, it features a Crown-inspired vertical chrome grille, 15.6-inch floating central display with Snapdragon 8295 chip, offering 2.0L ICE and 2.5L hybrid variants, with the hybrid version delivering a 4.57L/100km certified fuel consumption.

On the same day, it debuted in Milan, Italy as GWM H7, offering ICE, HEV and PHEV variants priced at €40,000-50,000, marking GWM's first boxy off-road SUV entering the European market.

On October 28, Volkswagen Group officially launched the locally developed VEGA integrated technology matrix at its first China Tech Day, making it the only foreign automaker in China with a full-stack self-developed tech system. VEGA integrates CMP/CSP vehicle platforms, CEA E/E architecture and Hyper Sense 8 ADAS, supported by C-Brain AI R&D toolchain, marking the official start of its "In China, Beyond China" global expansion strategy.
