Audi has announced a change in its product naming conventions, abandoning the previous odd-even numbering system for distinguishing between ICE and electric vehicles. The new naming system will use A/Q+number, with the number indicating vehicle size and suffixes like Avant/Sedan/Sportback to denote body styles. Powertrains will be indicated by e-tron/TFSI e/TFSI/TDI. The first model to adopt the new naming is the new Audi A6, set to launch on March 4th. The new A6 will come in both sedan and wagon versions, featuring the latest family design with wedge-shaped headlights and second-generation OLED taillights. It will be based on the PPC platform and offer 2.0T and 3.0T engine options.
