Chery's new brand, Lepas (pronounced "leap-pass"), announced its official entry into the Malaysian market in the first half of 2026, with the L8 SUV—the rebranded second-generation Tiggo 8—as its initial flagship model. The company plans to establish at least 30 sales and service outlets across Peninsular Malaysia and East Malaysia by the end of 2026, along with immersive "lifestyle experience centers" in the Klang Valley.
