Spy photos of the Mercedes-Benz C-Class electric version have been exposed. The new car is based on the MB.EA electric vehicle platform and is expected to be launched in 2026. In terms of appearance, the front of the car is full and round, equipped with a closed grille and new LED headlights. The body side lines are dynamic, and the rear adopts a small duck tail design. In terms of power, it is equipped with 800V technology and the cruising range is expected to reach 750km.

Chinese luxury marque Hongqi officially lands in Singapore via Eurokars Elite; the right-hand-drive E-HS9 full-size electric SUV will be unveiled at the Singapore Motorshow (8-11 Jan 2026) and launched the same year. Measuring 5209 mm long with a 3110 mm wheelbase, the twin-motor 4WD offers 218 or 333 PS rear output and 84-120 kWh batteries for 380-515 km WLTP range. Air suspension, matrix LEDs and full ADAS are standard. A showroom at 19 Leng Kee Road will be followed by an electric sedan and two mid-size SUVs, plus ICE options.

IM Motors Scales OTA in January, Debuts LS8 & L3 AD in 2026
IM Motors will begin a large-scale over-the-air update this January, rolling out in waves according to chip set and model. The brand also revealed a 2026 roadmap headlined by the new range-extended LS8 SUV, already homologated by MIIT. Measuring 5085 mm long with a 3060 mm wheelbase, the 5/6-seater pairs a 1.5-litre turbo generator with a 230 kW electric drive and 52.1-65.9 kWh LFP blade batteries for up to 335 km electric range. IM will simultaneously push steer-by-wire and L3-grade assisted-driving technologies into volume production.

Thai Auto Market Surges 20.6% in Nov 2025, Toyota Retains Crown
Thailand’s new-vehicle sales jumped 20.6% YoY to 51,044 units in November 2025, the strongest monthly pace this year. Commercial vehicles spearheaded growth, surging 31.1% to 31,870 units, while passenger cars added 6.5% to 19,174. Toyota maintained leadership with 19,305 registrations and a 37.8% share; its January-November volume reached 205,453 units, giving it 37.6% of the overall market. Hybrid sales climbed 38.4% to 11,594 units, commanding 51.1% of the full-year xEV segment. The Motor Expo generated a 12-year-high 75,246 bookings, pointing to continued momentum in December.

Lexus has released official images of the RZ 600e F Sport Performance, its most powerful RZ yet. Inside, blue accents and leather/Alcantara sport seats complement the yoke-style steering wheel with steer-by-wire. Sales start in Japan on 2 March 2026 at ¥12.165–12.44 million (≈US$110–113k).
