The Xiaomi SU7 Radiant Coral Red real car has been unveiled. This model is part of Xiaomi's 15th-anniversary limited series, with the Radiant Coral Red color option available for an additional 9,000 yuan. Four new wheel designs were launched simultaneously. The real car features a 20-inch exclusive rice-type wheel, and the Max version is equipped with Brembo calipers as standard, with the wheel option priced at 6,000 yuan. The real car also displays a rice grey interior, with Nappa leather given away for free. The interior style is more home-oriented, and the center console panel has wood grain decoration.

UNYX 07 LiDAR Version Spied in MIIT Filing; Delivery Expected by Year-End
The latest MIIT filing reveals that the UNYX 07 will receive a LiDAR-equipped version. The new variant maintains the current model's design, with body height increased by 4mm to 1,570 mm; dimensions are 4,853 × 1,852 × 1,570 mm with a 2,826 mm wheelbase, riding on 235/45 R20 tyres. Power continues from a single motor rated at 170 kW paired with an LFP battery. For reference, the current UNYX 07 uses a pure vision intelligent driving solution priced at 129,900-139,900 yuan. The LiDAR version will upgrade to a LiDAR + Horizon Robotics Journey 6H chip combination, enabling City NOA navigation assist, with delivery expected by end of 2026.
BYD Atto 1 Adds Entry-Level Standard Variant in Indonesia at Rp 199 Million
Nearly a year after its launch in Indonesia, BYD's Atto 1 (known as Seagull elsewhere) has added a new Standard entry-level variant priced at Rp 199 million (approximately RM46,000). All variants come standard with a 30.08 kWh Blade LFP battery delivering around 250 km WLTP range and 30 kW DC fast charging, while the Premium specification upgrades to a 38.88 kWh unit with approximately 320 km WLTP range and 40 kW charging capability. A single front motor producing 75 hp and 135 Nm drives all variants, achieving 0-50 km/h in 4.9 seconds with a 130 km/h top speed. The Premium exclusively features 6 airbags, four-way steering adjustment, six-way powered driver seat, wireless charging, and auto up/down driver window. Three exterior colors are available with a black and grey interior. Warranty coverage includes 6 years/150,000 km for the vehicle, 8 years/160,000 km for the battery, and 8 years/150,000 km for the drive unit.
Roewe Jiayue 07 Unveiled, Momenta R7 ADAS for 150K-200K Yuan Segment
On August 10, the Roewe Jiayue 07 was unveiled, positioned as a large five-seat mid-to-large SUV targeting the 150,000-200,000 yuan segment. The exterior features vertical body panels with connected star-chain headlights, approximately 3,000 embossed star patterns on the front, and a LiDAR on the roof. Dimensions measure 4,900/1,910/1,745-1,753 mm with a 2,908 mm wheelbase. Inside, it offers dual 15.6-inch 2.5K screens, a cooling/warming fridge, dual zero-gravity seats, and an 18+2 speaker system. Driver assistance is powered by the Momenta R7 world model capable of predicting pedestrian, cyclist, and vehicle trajectories. With its high-spec, competitive pricing strategy, the Jiayue 07 targets the mainstream mid-to-large SUV market.

Proton eMAS to Enter Sri Lanka as Fifth Overseas Market
Proton has signed a partnership agreement with Sri Lankan company David Pieris Holdings (DPHL), appointing DPHL as the general distributor for the Proton eMAS series in Sri Lanka. DPHL is part of one of Sri Lanka's largest conglomerates with businesses spanning finance, transportation, and real estate. The eMAS series currently has four overseas markets: Singapore, Trinidad and Tobago, Mauritius, and Nepal, with Sri Lanka set to become the fifth overseas market with an expected launch by year-end. Mercedes-AMG GT 53 4-Door Coupé Launched with Dual-Motor Setup, 544 PS and 809 km WLTP Range
The Mercedes-AMG GT 53 4-Door Coupé joins the GT 4-Door Coupé lineup as a new entry variant, featuring a dual-motor all-wheel-drive configuration (compared to the tri-motor setup in the GT63 and GT55). The GT53 delivers a peak output of 544 PS and 800 Nm, with 0-100 km/h acceleration in 3.5 seconds and a top speed of 230 km/h (250 km/h with the optional AMG Driver's Package). Built on an 800-volt architecture with a 106 kWh battery, it supports 600 kW DC peak charging, achieving 10-80% charge in just 11 minutes, delivering a WLTP range of 809 km and approximately 534 km added in just 10 minutes of charging. The GT53 mimics the sound of an AMG six-cylinder engine (while the GT63 simulates the V8), reflecting its position in the lineup.
