IONIQ is Hyundai's new high-end new energy brand, with the V as its first model, fully led by Hyundai China Design Center and tailored for Chinese users. Exterior features a new design language with closed front face, split lighting, fastback silhouette and frameless doors with 0.23Cd drag coefficient. Dimensions are 4,900/1,890/1,470mm with 2,900mm wheelbase. Chery Malaysia officially previewed the Tiggo Cross Sport Edition, a sportier variant of the Tiggo Cross, launching next month. Compared to the standard model, it adds front and rear lower lip spoilers, faux exhaust tips and a "Sport" badge. Roof rails, 18-inch two-tone wheels and the small rear spoiler are carried over. The Tiggo Cross was launched in Malaysia last July with 1.5 Turbo (RM88,800) and 1.5 Hybrid CSH (RM99,800). It is slightly larger than the Perodua Ativa but smaller than the Chery O5, making it Chery's entry-level SUV. Whether the Sport Edition will offer both petrol and hybrid variants remains to be confirmed at launch.
