Vietnamese automaker VinFast is evaluating the feasibility of adding range-extender electric vehicle (REEV) technology to its flagship VF9 SUV, with a dedicated project team in early exploratory stages. The VF9 currently accounts for only about 1% of VinFast's Vietnam sales.
