BYD has announced an increase in investment for its Brazilian EV factory from BRL 3 billion to BRL 5.5 billion. The Freelander brand is confirmed for launch in the United Kingdom as part of its "third wave" of market expansion. Li Auto announces expansion into international right-hand drive markets by end-2026, debuting in Hong Kong, Singapore and Thailand simultaneously.
