On July 10, Jetta officially unveiled the all-new VS8, a mid-size SUV featuring a bold “Warrior Armor” design language. According to reports, the Porsche Cayenne EV is expected to launch next year with a starting price of $90,000. Honda has canceled its planned three-row electric SUV for North America, originally intended to compete with the Hyundai Ioniq 9 and Kia EV9. Hyundai is set to launch the Elexio, a new C-segment electric SUV, in China this September. Built on the E-GMP platform and produced by BAIC in Beijing, the Elexio is tailored for the Chinese market with a distinctive design and a tech-heavy interior featuring a 27-inch touchscreen powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8295 chip. It supports features like AutoNavi maps, AI voice, karaoke, and Douyin video streaming. The Elexio delivers 218 PS and offers over 700 km of range (CLTC), with DC fast charging from 30–80% in 27 minutes. Positioned to rival the BYD Atto 3, it measures 4,615 mm in length and includes Level 2 autonomous driving tech.
