BYD's compact SUV Yuan UP DM-i made its European debut, offering 90km pure electric range and 1000km total range. The plug-in hybrid model retains the design of its EV counterpart and features the fifth-generation DM system with a 1.5L engine and electric motor. Currently, the Yuan UP is only available in pure electric variants in China, priced from 74,800 to 119,800 yuan.

The Beijing Off-Road BJ60 Thunder Executive Edition, a mid-to-large SUV featuring a range-extended powertrain, will debut on November 30. This variant adds chrome exterior trim, 20-inch alloy wheels, and suede-like upholstery with power-adjustable rear seats. Spy shots reveal the Proton eMAS 7 PHEV undergoing testing in Malaysia, with market launch anticipated next year. The model marks Proton's first plug-in hybrid, featuring a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated engine (99 PS) paired with an electric motor (218 PS) and 18.4-kWh battery pack. WLTP-rated electric range is 84 km, with combined range reaching 943 km and fuel consumption at 2.4L/100km. The PHEV supports 6kW AC charging, 30kW DC fast charging, and 6kW V2L external power supply.

Land Rover unveils the Defender Dakar D7X-R rally car for the 2026 World Rally-Raid Championship and Dakar Rally. Built to production-class specifications, it employs a lightweight design with spare wheel removal, 35-inch off-road tires, Bilstein performance dampers, and six/four-piston brake calipers. The vehicle will debut at the Saudi Arabia rally in January 2026.

Ford Pro announces Ranger enhancements, expanding the PHEV lineup with Platinum and Limited models featuring segment-first BlueCruise hands-free driving. Limited to US market production from February-April 2026, the $77,500 model is based on the M40i with a B58 3.0-litre turbocharged inline-six producing 387 PS. Available with eight-speed automatic or six-speed manual transmission, it features exclusive Frozen Black metallic paint, Shadowline Package, Moonlight Black soft top, and Edition Handschalter chassis tuning for manual variants. The interior includes Vernasca leather/Alcantara sport seats with red stitching and Harman Kardon surround sound.
