The GAC Aion Hyper HT, showcased at the Malaysia Autoshow in May, has been renamed Hyptec HT and displayed at the Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS). With the new name, the Hyptec HT is priced lower for the Indonesian market, starting at 685 million rupiah (approximately RM193,400), positioning it to compete directly with the Tesla Model Y. Available in Premium and Ultra variants, the launch is set for September. Despite its premium positioning, the Hyptec HT is only available in rear-wheel-drive form with single motor options of 245 PS and 340 PS. In China, the Hyptec GT offers four battery size options and supports 800-volt high-speed charging technology.

The rear adopts a fastback silhouette with an expected full-width taillight. For reference, the Arcfox S3 is priced between 64,800 and 125,800 yuan, with its official launch scheduled for May 22.

Interior spy shots of the Changan Qiyuan Q06 have surfaced. Built on the SDA Tianshu architecture, the model features a Q05-inspired cockpit with a floating center display, full digital instrument cluster, column-mounted shifter, and customizable rotary knob. It will be equipped with the Tianshu intelligent advanced driver-assistance system and Changan’s Taihang distributed electric drive.
