The GAC Aion Hyper HT, showcased at the Malaysia Autoshow in May, has been renamed Hyptec HT and displayed at the Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS). With the new name, the Hyptec HT is priced lower for the Indonesian market, starting at 685 million rupiah (approximately RM193,400), positioning it to compete directly with the Tesla Model Y. Available in Premium and Ultra variants, the launch is set for September. Despite its premium positioning, the Hyptec HT is only available in rear-wheel-drive form with single motor options of 245 PS and 340 PS. In China, the Hyptec GT offers four battery size options and supports 800-volt high-speed charging technology.

Honda City e:HEV The Black Outshine special edition launches in Thailand, priced at 735,000 baht (~RM94,000). Based on the e:HEV SV variant, this dark-themed edition features black Honda emblems, 16-inch alloy wheels, door handles, and mirror caps. The i-MMD hybrid powertrain combines a 1.5-litre Atkinson-cycle engine with a 109 PS electric motor via E-CVT.
