Mercedes-AMG has launched the GLC43 4Matic Coupé Nightfall Edition in Malaysia, locally assembled and priced at RM518,888—a RM20,000 premium over the standard model. The Nightfall Edition adds the AMG Night Package Exterior II with dark chrome radiator trim slats, rear tristar and model badging, and a silver chrome AMG fuel filler cap. The cabin features the AMG Real Performance Sound system with Balanced and Powerful modes. Power comes from a 2.0-liter turbocharged inline-four producing 421 PS and 500 Nm, augmented by a 48-volt mild-hybrid system, paired with the AMG Speedshift MCT 9G nine-speed automatic transmission and 4MATIC all-wheel drive, achieving 0-100 km/h in 4.5 seconds and a top speed of 250 km/h. The high-power variant of the Leapmotor B10 has appeared in MIIT homologation filings, retaining the existing exterior design. The new variant continues with a single-motor layout offering two power outputs of 180 kW and 185 kW, representing a significant increase over the current 132 kW and 160 kW versions. It maintains the LFP battery configuration with a top speed of 180 km/h. Proton has officially launched the eMas 5 in Singapore at The Car Expo, distributed by authorized dealer Vincar Group. Martin Schulz, newly appointed president and CEO of Mercedes-Benz Malaysia, outlined the brand's product offensive in his first media engagement. The company will selectively introduce models from a global lineup of 40 new products over the next two to three years, beginning with the all-electric C178 CLA. Future arrivals are expected to include the GLC EQ, W520 C-Class EV, EQS and GLE facelifts, and an entry-level G-Class. Schulz emphasized agile product planning to respond to Malaysia's dynamic market environment.

Audi has confirmed the Q9 flagship three-row SUV will premiere in Q3, revealing its interior ahead of launch. Built on the Premium Platform Combustion (PPC) shared with the A5, A6, and Q5, the Q9 positions above the Q7 as an indirect replacement for the A8, targeting the BMW X7 and Mercedes-Benz GLS. The WEY V8X standard-wheelbase variant has appeared in the latest MIIT homologation filings, positioned as a mid-to-large SUV with a 5-seat configuration. Featuring a 2,968mm wheelbase—82mm shorter than the previously filed long-wheelbase version (3,050mm)—dimensions are 5,000(5,040)/2,025/1,808(1,823)mm compared to the LWB's 5,125/2,025/1,821mm. The design language carries over from the long-wheelbase model, with extensive customization options including front/rear bumpers, grilles, window trim, body accents, streaming mirrors, wheels, and brake calipers. Powertrain options comprise plug-in hybrid systems based on either 1.5-liter or 2.0-liter turbocharged engines, expanding WEY's electrified portfolio in the competitive mid-to-large SUV segment.
