Proton has released full specs of the new Saga line-up. The entry Standard (RM37,990) is now Malaysia’s cheapest 1.5-litre car—almost RM 13k under a Myvi 1.5 X—yet offers 120 PS and 150 N·m from its port-injected BHE15-CFN engine. All variants get LED head- and tail-lamps, a fresh horizontal dash and 7-inch digital cluster, but the Standard sticks with a 4-speed auto, 14-inch alloys, two airbags and a basic radio; the touchscreen, wireless CarPlay, reverse camera, four-speaker audio and ADAS are reserved for the Executive and Premium. The Premium adds a CVT (4.9 L/100 km), six airbags, AEB, LDW, BSM and 15-inch two-tone wheels.
