Spy shots reveal the Proton eMAS 7 PHEV undergoing testing in Malaysia, with market launch anticipated next year. The model marks Proton's first plug-in hybrid, featuring a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated engine (99 PS) paired with an electric motor (218 PS) and 18.4-kWh battery pack. WLTP-rated electric range is 84 km, with combined range reaching 943 km and fuel consumption at 2.4L/100km. The PHEV supports 6kW AC charging, 30kW DC fast charging, and 6kW V2L external power supply.
