Volvo ES90 Spotted in Malaysia, Set for CKD Launch in 2026

The third-generation Mazda CX-5, which made its global debut in July, is confirmed to launch in Malaysia in Q3 2026. Initially imported as CBU units, local CKD assembly is expected to begin 12–16 months later. The new model will be sold alongside the current second-generation facelift version, with differentiated specs: the outgoing model will be limited to a 2.0L engine, while the new CX-5 will feature a 2.5L e-SkyActiv G mild hybrid engine producing 141 PS and 238 Nm, paired with a 6AT and front-wheel drive.

Alfa Romeo Confirms Return to Malaysia with Giulia and Stelvio Veloce Models
Italian automaker Alfa Romeo has officially confirmed its return to the Malaysian market, launching a local website and social media channels while opening pre-registrations for the Giulia sedan and Stelvio SUV. Both models will be introduced in the high-performance Veloce trim, powered by a 2.0-litre turbocharged four-cylinder engine producing 280 PS and 400 Nm of torque, paired with an eight-speed ZF automatic transmission. The Giulia features rear-wheel drive, while the Stelvio comes with all-wheel drive, both capable of accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in as little as 5.7 seconds.
