BYD released the official images of the Atto 3 DM-i, a new plug-in hybrid model equipped with a 1.5L naturally aspirated engine and an electric motor, delivering a combined output of 212 horsepower. It features a 19kWh battery, offering a WLTP-certified all-electric range of 90km and a combined range of 1020km. The exterior design remains largely consistent with the pure electric version, with additional features including a fuel filler cap and 17-inch matte gray alloy wheels. The vehicle will make its debut in Luxembourg this week, followed by European media test drives in November, with deliveries expected in Q1 next year. Given BYD's upcoming factory establishment in Malaysia, the new model is likely to be introduced to the local market.
